Geocache Description:

The cache is a small plastic lock tub, containing a note book and pencil (however best to bring a pen in case pencil is broke), there is room for small swaps, TB, and Coins.

The Incleborough can be reached either from East Runton or West Runton, and 4 or 5 paths run to the top of it. Parking is available in either East or West Runton on street, or there is a free car park in West Runton N52.56.291 E001.14.755. West Runton train station is also close by, and buses run regularly to both East and West Runton.

Incleborough Hill is one of the Runton Commons and was grazed regularly until the end of the 19th century, after which, like West Runton Heath, it became overgrown. Recent management has produced more grass and a range of gorse of different ages. Dodder a parasite of gorse is also very common here. The top of Incleborough is 79m high boasting one of, if not the best panoramic view of North Norfolk, to the east Cromer Church and Lighthouse and to the west Blakeney point.

Please beware that some of the plant life around the cache contain thorns, so please take care when retrieving. Also Adders, common lizards and slow worms are all active on the hill in summer months.
