Skomantu k., Veivirženu sen., Klaipedos r. Skomantuose stukso vienas ispudingiausiu pajurio piliakalniu. Piliakalnyje pastatyta skulptura „Žemaitis“ lankytojams byloja apie didinga šio krašto praeiti ir istorija. Skulptura sukurta 1969 m. tautodailininko V. Majoro. Truputi palypejus i piliakalni išvysite obeliska, skirta Didžiosios ir Mažosios Lietuvos susijungimui.

EN: Skomantai mound.
One of the most impressive mounds of coast exists in Skomantai. The sculpture "Samogitian" built on the base of the mound proclaims to the visitors about sublime past and history of this region. Sculpture was created by folk artist V. Majoras in 1969. When climbing into the mound, you will set eyes on obelisk dedicated to the consolidation of Lithuania Greater and Lithuania Minor of the year 1923.
