Colorful Daegu 2008 Event Cache

• You are invited to Colorful Daegu for a gathering of geocachers. 

WHEN:

• 16 November 2008, Sunday, 12:00 PM till ??? 
• The time slot for the Conference Hall is scheduled from 12PM till 2PM.

• To meet & greet cachers, discover & trade travel bugs and geocoins , trade caching stories, geocoin contests and have plain old event fun! Be sure to find the very nearby GC1FNEP.

GENERAL INFO

1. It is important that you use the "will attend" option and let us know how many guests you'll be bringing.  This will help greatly on our head-count and help cachers to gain access to the conference hall. 
2. Bring your camera and enjoy the great panoramic views from above.
3. To be sure you stay updated with any changes place this event on your watch list .
4. Out of country/TDY cachers needing more info and directions send email.
5. Cachers driving to the event please let us know and we'll reserve you a spot in the garage.

GEOCOINS AND TRAVEL BUGS

1. The Military Association of GeoCachers has donated some MAGC Americas 2008 Geocoins to the event.  Thanks Falcon Loader!
2. USA 45 has donated some Ultimate Sacrifice Dog Tags Geocoins to the event.  Many thanks to her and the work she's doing! 
3. The Red , Green , White , and Yellow Jeeps will be making an appearance to be discovered.
4. Over one hundred geocoins will be available for discovery.

CONTESTS

1. Putting for Geocoins at the rooftop putting green.  Longest putt wins.  Bring along your favorite putters or use one of the two available.
2. "Stop The Geocoin Thief" contest.  The coin will be hidden for a "Geocoin Thief" find.
3. The "Geocoins Event Note Contest" (see below) will take place for MAGC members from around the world that have entered with an event note.

We have been in contact with some cachers that are arriving on 15 November, Saturday to cache Daegu.  The meeting place will be at the donut shop located at N35° 52.625 - E128° 37.755 at 12:00 Noon.  *Feel free to join us.

*Saturday is not part of the event nor will count as participating in the event as per Event Cache Listing Requirements / Guidelines.

MAGC GEOCOINS EVENT NOTE CONTEST!

• WHO:  MAGC Members (Click here for information on how to join)
• WHAT:  One name will be pulled from an ammo can during this event and posted here as a log entry no later than 172400Z NOV 08 (date-time group refresher info).  The lucky MAGC member will win three un-activated geocoins.
• WHEN:  Enter after 122400Z OCT 08 and no later than 142400Z NOV 08.  Do not backdate log entry dates as we will use the date-time stamp from the emails groundspeaks generates.
• WHERE:  Winner don't need to be present. Just watch your email.
• HOW:  Leave a note on this event page.  If your MAGC name is different than your Geocaching name please state so.  GOOD LUCK!
