Geocache Description:

Peruskätkö Honkavaaran huipun läheisyydessä.

Kätkö on sijoitettu Honkavaaran huipun läheisyyteen, josta ovat upeat näkymät Höytiäiselle. Voit myös nähdä Honkavaaran huipulta Höytiäisessä saaren, johon Kontiolahden trombi iski vuonna 2004.

Talvella kätkö ei välttämättä löydy, jos on paljon lunta.

Auto kannattaa jättää jäähallin parkkipaikalle (waypoint) tai vierevänniemen parkkipaikalle, joista paikalle on helpoin kävellä. Matkaa kertyy jäähallilta suuntaansa noin 1km ja vierevänniemeltä 400 metriä.

Varo liukasta rinnettä etsiessäsi kätköä! Pienimmät lapset kannattaa jättää huipulle odottamaan etsinnän ajaksi.

The cache is located near by ''Honkavaaran huippu'', where you can see lake called ''Höytiäinen''. You can see top of the ''Honkavaara'' island, which tromb hit year 2004.

If there is lots of snow, the cache is hard to find.

You can use waypoints parking areas, where you have to walk to the cache.

Watch out the slippy hillside when you are searching the cache!
