Geocache Description:

Fikapaus = Coffee break

Take a break on your caching trip in this genuine place. Gårdby country shop has existed since the 1920s and has been open all days of the year except Christmas Day, so even now. The shop was operated for decades until a few years ago by a single devout lady, Birgit Jonsson, who became something of a local celebrity. Now, the country shop is operated by new owners in Birgit's spirit, and has been extended with a pleasant cafe. Gårdby cafe & country shop is well worth a visit.
