Bienvenue sur la Côte d'Émeraude, en Pays de Saint-Malo
Welcome in the Emerald coast, in the country of Saint-Malo

Une courte série de 4 caches, quatre manières de venir découvrir la Côte d’Émeraude.

    - La mer : GC1J69W "Sea Gate"
        - Le ciel : GC1JY74 "Air Gate"    ici
        - Le rail : GC1J7ZJ "Iron Gate"    ici
      - La route : GC1J8DC "Macadam Gate" ici

Quatre caches qui se veulent faciles. Oublions un instant Blaise Vigenère, Claude Chappe, Samuel Morse, Da Vinci Code, Exif… et autres stimulateurs de QI.
La cache Air Gate se voit confier une mission supplémentaire:
Faciliter le passage des Travel Bugs et Geocoins, entre le Continent et les Iles, entre bretons et grands bretons.

Embarquement immédiat, pour cette cache "maritime", en bordure du GR34

SAINT-MALO, port du Naye.
    - PORSMOUTH sur Brittany Ferries
    - JERSEY et GUERNESEY sur Condor Ferries

Plusieurs parkings à proximité, places nombreuses....en basse saison !!!
WIFI gratuit dans la gare maritime.

Crée en Novembre 2008, la cache a été piratée 3 fois.
Voilà donc la toute dernière version, une multicache, "Côte d'Émeraude #1 - V4.1", bâtie sur les 2 anciennes caches disparues. Seule différence, c'est une micro-cache, au lieu d'une "regular"
Les coordonnées fournies en tête de fiche sont celles de la sortie des voyageurs de la gare maritime.
Discrétion, discrétion !!!Beaucoup de moldus dès les premiers beaux jours.

WP1 : Aller à l'emplacement de la cache initiale. Regardez dans la faille dans le roc. Vous ne voyez rien... c'est normal, la boite a été volée. Baissez les yeux et relevez la lettre écrite à environ 50cm du sol.

WP2 : Allez maintenant au second emplacement de la cache. Toujours rien ? Alors comme précédemment, relevez la lettre inscrite.

WP3 : Cache finale.
Pour trouver ses coordonnées, transformez les 2 indices alphabétiques en nombres, suivant la bonne vieille méthode bien connue (A=1, B=2 ... Z=26).
Soit x le nombre calculé pour le WP1 et y celui calculé pour le WP2

Calcul de la latitude : Soustraire x des millièmes de la latitude de WP1
Calcul de la longitude : Soustraire y des millièmes de la longitude de WP2

Le tout se joue dans l'espace d'un terrain de foot ball.

Air gate cache, has been entrusted with an additional mission:
To facilitate the circulation of the trackable objects, Travel Bugs and Geocoins, between the Continent and the Islands, between Britanny and Great Britain.

Immediate boarding, for this “maritime” cache, located near GR34hike path

Several carparks in the vicinity, many places for your car … in low season.
Free WIFI in the harbour station.

I have created this cache in November 2008, and since, it has been pirated three times !!!
The lonely difference, it is now a micro-cache, instead of a regular...
For this version, I choosed to make a multicache. It will bring you to the two precedent locations of the stollen caches .
The coordinates in the head of listing are those of the harbour station exit.
Prudence, prudence !!! many muggles around since the first sunny days .

WP1 : Go to the first location of the cache. Have a look inside the rock break. You do'nt see anything ???
Don't trouble, the 1st box has been stollen. Now, look down and find a letter, written on the rock, about 2 feets over the ground. Remember this letter.

WP2 : Now go to the second location . Always nothing inside the rock ??? Like before, remember the letter you can see .

WP3 : Cache location
To find the final cache coordinates, convert the 2 keys you just found, using the well known method : ( A=1, B=2, ... Z=26 )

x is the number corresponding to WP1
y is the number for WP2

Latitude : subtract x from thousandth of WP1 latitude
Longitude : subtract x from thousandth of WP2 longitude

It will be a short walk. The 3 way points could contain in the space of a football field !!!
