You will be in search of a small lock & lock container...this cache is a mystery type because of the additional logging requirement. Cache is not designed to be difficult to find so please hide it better than you found it. Please refrain from hunting this cache if there is alot of muggles afoot in the adjacent park at the time..we wouldn't want to see it wander off, now would we...thanks and happy hunting. BYOP....
This is a slightly different type of cache than I have done in the past, with this cache I will start telling part of a story…and each one to log this cache (in order to not have their log deleted) will be required to add to the story on their online log in addition to signing the log in the cache. In order to make this work please remember that you must leave your portion of the story open ended so the next person can add to it. Hopefully it can be done in a careful way as to attempt to keep the logs in some sort of order. I guess you will just have to read them all to know where the story left off so you can continue it. Perhaps you may think it is silly, but then so is looking for a random box in the woods…. right.
I think we will call it The Log That Never Ends. I think it will start something like this:
Once upon a time a couple of best friends (who also happened to be cachers) decided to go fishing. They decided to go fishing in a lake they had spotted deep in the woods while out cachin’ the week before. They baited their line and waited for a nibble.
They sat for a while discussing how to attack the latest DRT trail cache series when suddenly one of the poles bent to the ground. One of the cachers grabbed the pole and tried with all his/her might to pull in the fish, as he/she realized they were outmatched they called for the other to help. So there they were fighting the fish and losing the battle to hold on to the pole. (Yeah I know, we have to assume the line is pretty strong, just work with me…).
All of a sudden with a mighty pull both cachers were pulled right in and under the water. They were pulled deeper and deeper until it was to dark to see.
After a few minutes of panic they realized that they were breathing under water…how could this be possible…that was when they saw him, he was not a fish, well not really…more like half man and half fish…like a merman.
The merman then turned to them and spoke…. he said…???
FTF this is where you earned the honor of taking this story by the reigns…. tell me a story…
