Anni Swanin kadulla. Varovaisuuden noudattaminen kätköä hakiessa on paikallaan, sillä pienoista kiipeämistä on luvassa.

Anni Swan (1875-1958) on suomalainen satukirjailija, joka on asunut Mikkelissä kouluaikanaan. Kätkö löytyy hänen mukaansa nimetyn kadun varrelta.

Swanin sadut ovat sekoitus realistisia ja ihanteellisia aineksia. Useissa hänen kirjoissaan on löydettävissä myös kirjailijan omakohtaisia kokemuksia. Mikkelistä syntyneitä muistoja voi löytää esimerkiksi teoksesta "Ulla ja Mark" luistinrata maininnasta. Samoin Swan kirjoitti Mikkeli-aikanaan surullisen Mustalaisen laulun nuotilla laulettavan laulun.

Street name is Anni Swanin katu. Be carefull, you need to climb a bit.

Anni Swan was Finnish fairytale author, who lived in Mikkeli during her school years. You will find the cache from the streed named after her. Story´s of Swan are full of both idealistic and realistic ingredients. It is also possible to find stories which are based on her own experience. "Ulla and Mark" book include for instance some experiences from Mikkeli.
