Sandalwood is a nice little 2-acre neighborhood park with benches, playground, picnic tables, BBQ, and horseshoe pits. It is part of the greenway built over the Hetch Hetchy water pipes running through town.
This can be a very tough grab at certain times of the weekday day. There is a high school, middle school, and elementary school right next to the park, so when school is starting or getting out, forget it. Large herds of high-school-aged Muggles collect here after school as well. At other times, use stealth, as this is a popular place for joggers, walkers, and dog owners.
Congratulations to Spinneyman/Locatorman for a team FTF!
2/1/09 - The cache was muggled so this is a new container in a different location. The cache is a camouflaged tupperware style container. It starts off with some trinkets and a log.
2/9/09 - After feedback from some experienced cache hunters, I've adjusted the difficulty rating of this cache. The container is approximately 5"x5"x5" camouflaged tupperware-type in plain sight from the right vantage point.
Congratulations to kablooey for FTF after the relocation!
