Aus Anlass des Forum Treverorum VII habe ich eine gut 6 km lange Wanderung über einen Höhenzug am südlichsten Ende des Sauertals zusammen gestellt, wie ich sie mag, und die an einigen Stellen mit überraschenden, euch hoffentlich bisher nicht bekannten Perspektiven aufwartet.
Dieser Cache kann gerne tagsüber erwandert werden, doch auch nachts, und nachts ist es spannender und die Eindrücke sind keinesfalls weniger interessant, vor allem in den dunkleren Passagen. So gesehen ein Tag- und Nachtcache!
Ihr parkt in Igel, startet in Liersberg, und wundert Euch, warum der Cache Langsur heisst?
Nun, die Aktion beginnt mit dem Verlassen des Fahrzeugs auf dem Abstellplatz bei N 49 43.017 und E 6 31.555.
Von dort sind es nur einige Meter bis zum Einstieg in die Wanderung und in den Stubbachweg bei N49 43.078 und E6 31.529. Diesem Weg folgt ihr bis zum WP1 bei N49 43.172 und E6 31.647.
Sucht und notiert die Postleitzahl des Ortes, in dem Claus Landmaschinen vertreibt. Die PLZ lautet A B C D E , und mit ihrer Kenntnis beginnt das Rechnen...
A = ___ , B = ___ , C = ___ ; D = ___ ; E = ___
Folgt weiter dem Weg bis WP2 bei N49 43.C A B und E6 32.(B-A) B (D-A) um dort festzustellen, dass hier jemand aus der Verwaltung einen Buchstaben verloren hat, dessen Wert F = ___ ihr später benötigt.
Dieser Verlust soll euch nicht weiter kümmern, ihr macht einfach weiter und sucht bei WP3 mit N49 43.C (A-1) B und E6 32. E E E eine Jahreszahl, nämlich G H I J.
G = ___ , H = ___ ; I = ___ ; J = ___
Igel kann man übrigens aufziehen, pflegen, züchten, und kreuzen, aber dass man mit ihnen auch rechnen kann, erfahrt ihr erst bei WP4: N49 43. J I H und E6 31.D (H-J) C: Rechnet hier bitte K = ___ aus, in dem ihr Grün von Rot subtrahiert!
*** Die Schilder für K fehlen aktuell, die Aufgabe "K" ist aber identisch auch an WP5 zu lösen ***
Bei WP5: N49 43. (B-I) G I und E6 31. H A H findet ihr nicht nur eine Abzweigung, sondern auch den Unterschied zwischen einer Telefon- und einer Faxnummer, nämlich L = ___.
Im Sockel der technischen Einrichtung bei WP6: N49 43. I ( F/K) E und E6 31. G (L-K) D befinden sich drei Raster, die durchaus jeweils einer Tabelle ähnlich sehen. Wären dies wirklich Tabellen, hätten sie M = ___ Zeilen.
Wo gerade Zeilen erwähnt werden: Der Schriftzug im nahegelegenen WP7 bei N49 43. (D/L) I (G+J) und E6 31. (M-H) K (L-G) hat wie viele davon? N = ___
Ihr seid doch noch auf dem rechten Weg? Wer sich fragt, ob das zutrifft, nimmt bitte am WP8 bei N 49 43. G N A und E6 30. D K E tatsächlich den rechten Weg, doch vorher zählt bitte noch die Spitzen der grünen Wegweiser zu O = ___
ACHTUNG: ZUR ZEIT FEHLT EIN SCHILD, DESWEGEN FÜR DIE ERMITTLUNG VON O DIE ANZAHL DER GEZÄHLTEN SCHILDER UM EINS ERHÖHEN !
Seht Euch bitte den Eingangsbereich des nahen Gebäudes näher an und notiert, wie viele Schlüssel insgesamt gebraucht werden, um diese Eingangstür aufzusperren. P = ___
Dem rechten Weg folgend - Geocacher sind am besten immer auf dem rechten Weg - kommt ihr über den WP9 ( N49 43. P K G, E6 30. L B O ) zu WP10 mit einigen Ruhebänken bei N49 42. H O M und E6 30. O I K.
Hier befindet ihr Euch im Schnittpunkt bzw. in der Verlängerung von etlichen nationalen und internationalen Verkehrsachsen, ob in Deutschland oder in Luxemburg, seien es die Straßen, das Wasser oder die Bahn oder gar die Luft.
Weiter geht’s! Zunächst bei N49 42. D H N und E6 30. D N (P+N) noch die kleine links - rechts Kombination mitmachen, ehe ihr dann bei N49 42. M (O+P)/2 H und E6 31. (K-N-P) (O+P) (O+P-N-L) das Hauptziel der Runde erreicht, von wo aus ihr den Weg zurück zum Fahrzeug einschlagt.
Seit heute, 29.07.2011 befindet sich an dieser Stelle, wo der erste Final verschwand, eine Plakette mit verschlüsselten, aber eindeutigen Angaben, wo sich der Final (zunächst mal ein Mikro) nun befindet.
Wer die Runde tagsüber macht und dabei Hunger bekommen hat, dem sei das Ristorante empfohlen, dass im letzten Teil des Weges zu sehen ist, dort wird man - so heißt es - seid der Wiedereröffnung gut bewirtet. Die Öffnungszeiten sind aber bitte, vor Allem von den Nachtaktiven, vorher zu erkundigen. Wünsche wie immer gutes Wetter und gute Aussichten auf dem Weg und würde mich freuen, wenn er euch gefällt.

Due to the Forum Treverorum VII i composed a hike of about 6 kilometers across and over a range of hills in the southern end of the Sauertal, how i like it, and that will show you some surprising views, which you don´t know yet, ( so i hope ).
This cache can be done during the day, but also by night, and at night it is more exciting and the impressions are not less interesting, first of all in the dark passages. So - if you want - you can call it a day- and nightcache.
You will park your car in Igel, you´ll start in Liersberg, and you wonder about the name of this cache: Langsur?
Now, the action starts with leaving the car at the parking area at N 49 43.017 and E 6 31.555. From there you have to go only a few meters to the starting point at the entrance of the „Stubbachweg“ at N49 43.078 and E6 31.529.
Please follow this way up to WP1 at N49 43.172 and E6 31.647. Look for the postal code of the town, where Claus sales agricultural machines. The postal code is A B C D E, and from now on you have to calculate the following WPs:
A = ___ , B = ___ , C = ___ ; D = ___ ; E = ___
Follow this trail further on to WP2 at N49 43.C A B and E6 32.(B-A) B (D-A), to recognize there that somebody of the administration has lost a letter. You will need the worth of this letter ( F = ___ ) on your following way.
But you must not worry about this lost, simply go on and look at WP3 with N49 43.C (A-1) B and E6 32. E E E for a number of a year, G H I J.

You know, that you can do different things with hedgehogs? Yes? But that you can calculate with them, you can see at WP4: N49 43. J I H and E6 31.D (H-J) C. Please calculate K = ___ by subtracting green from red.

At WP5: N49 43. (B-I) G I and E6 31. H A H you will not only find another way, but also the difference between a phone- and a fax - number. ( L = ___ ).
In the base of the technical installation at WP6: N49 43. I ( F/K) E and E6 31. G (L-K) D you can see three grids which look like excel-sheets. If these were really sheets, they wood have how many rows? ( M = ___ )
Now let us talk about rows or lines: How many lines has the inscription at the nearby lying WP7 at N49 43. (D/L) I (G+J) and E6 31. (M-H) K (L-G)? N = ___
You are sure to be still on the right way? If you don´t really know this, take the right way at WP8 with N 49 43. G N A and E6 30. D K E. But before you go on and leave WP8, please count all the green arrows at the signpost to O = ___.
ATTENTION: AT THE TIME ONE GREEN ARROW IS MISSING, PLEASE COUNT THE GREEN ARROWS YOU'LL SEE AND ADD 1 TO GET O,
And please have a look at the entrance of the nearby building: There are a lot of keywholes, and you have to note how many keys you need to enter this building? P = ___? THANKS.
Now follow the right way, please, first to WP9 ( N49 43. P K G, E6 30. L B O ) and afterwards to WP10 with some benches to take place at N49 42. H O M and E6 30. O I K.
Here you find yourself in the point of intersection of some national and international traffic ways in Germany and in Luxemburg, maybe streets, railways, waterways and the air.
Later go on, please: first to N49 42. D H N and E6 30. D N (P+N), there you turn to the left, some 50 meters later to the right, before you can find the main objective at N49 42. M (O+P)/2 H and E6 31. (K-N-P) (O+P) (O+P-N-L).
After your logging go further on to get back to your car.
Since today, 29.07.2011 you will find a tag exactly at the place, where the first final disappeared. On that tag there are encoded informations about the coordinates of the new final (in the first instance a micro).
To the cachers who did this cache by day and who got hungry on the way, i recommend the „Ristorante“, which can be seen during the last part of your way.
