The ancient Petroglyph pictured above was uncovered in the Northern part of Door County, 44 miles from Sturgeon Bay. On 5-1-06, 2 teenagers (Howie Hidem and Dewie Findem) playing along the Western shore of the peninsula, discovered this painted carving on a large rock. This Petroglyph covers an area of approximately 87 square inches. The rock itself weighs 21 tons and is 8'x 5'x 3'. During transportation to the natural history museum, the driver became lost and drove in circles for hours. The rock somehow fell from the flatbed delivery truck unnoticed and is believed to be somewhere within the city limits of Sturgeon Bay. A reward has been offered for locating this ancient artwork.
Your task is to solve the puzzle and locate the rock. Your reward is located 197 feet away on a bearing of 306 degrees from the rock. The actual rock is pictured below. I would also like to see posted in your online log, your personal interpretation of the Petroglyph. Howie thought that it looked like a Mother Cat feeding her Kittens. Dewie thought it was more on the line of a red wolf. How crazy can you get?
