Reviewer notes

Use this space to describe your geocache location, container, and how it's hidden to your reviewer. If you've made changes, tell the reviewer what changes you made. The more they know, the easier it is for them to publish your geocache. This note will not be visible to the public when your geocache is published.

GeoCrater: I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no word from the owner in the month or more since the last reviewer note was posted. If you want to re-activate the cache during the next couple of months, please contact GeoCrater to see if that's possible. If the cache meets current guidelines, consideration will be given based on the circumstances surrounding the original archival.

NOTE: My preferred method of communication is through notes on the cache page in question. However, should you wish to use email - please do not select "reply". In general, a reply to the mail bot will not reach me. Instead, please go to your cache page and e-mail GeoCrater from the log there or email me directly at, referencing the cache URL, or waypoint number.

Geocache Description:

A difficult hike to Cerros Amigos radio towers overlooking the lake and Volcan Arenal.

This cache is placed mainly for the view and just to say you've been there. I placed it on a Sunday morning so I couldn't buy any goodies to place inside, but if someone wants to add some small prizes that'd be great.

According to Lonely Planet, you can see Volcan Arenal from here when it's clear. It is often completely covered by clouds, though, as when I placed the cache, so you might not see anything. But it's a challenging and rewarding hike. Boots are HIGHLY recommended.

It is at the base of a bromelia/tree about waist high near the original location in the hint (according to user's comments).
