Watford Wobble: Oh well, it looks like the cache has gone again. I believe it's now being targeted having been replaced twice in quick succession.

Fun whilst it lasted but now time to archive.

Gone for a Burton.

Geocache Description:

The first nano in Daventry.

The Edmund Charles Burton Memorial was erected by members of the National Hunt committee. He was known as a ‘staunch churchman and renowned sportsman’ but little else is known of him. The monument was once a drinking fountain but this function has long been disabled. His monument is often over looked by visitors with the eye drawn to the Moot Hall which has been everything from private house to a women’s prison and most recently a curry house. The Moot Hall currently stands empty.

Edit 24th November 2011. The Moot Hall re-opened as an arts and crafts shop for local crafty type people to sell their wares. Crafty as in arts and crafts not people involved in dodgy dealing or money laundering. I understand there is also to be a cafe opened soon.

This is Daventry’s first micro. The nano is not on the monument itself but nearby. The co-ordinates provided is where the nano is hidden. There is only a log book.
