Geocache Description:

SUV or Pickup (4x4 not required); slightly rocky rolliing desert hills; final few yards are steep uphill and rocky

This cache will tweak your interest in natl resources. On this route at N 38 49.433, W119 08.871, look to the east and west of you and see the straw bale houses; Thence, turning SW at N 38 47.074, W119 09.468 onto FS 772b (If you miss this one, look for mickey and turn back), you will soon arrive at N.38 46.039, W119 10.483 at which point you can warm your hands or sunbathe; Thence, standing near the third steam vent, proceed to the first stage cache (amber pill bottle) which provides instructions to locate the main geological feature of this outdoor adventure. Once there by using the coordinates provided in the first stage cache, and standing directly in the center, proceed on a heading of approx. 305 degrees. Walk a short ways, about 105 feet, and you will find the final cache( painted brown coffee can with plastic lid) under a small pile of rocks on the ridge.
