Congrats to Tonkajen on her 1,000th cache find!
In the grand tradition of hiding a Silver Ammo Can to recognize the finding of 1,000 caches, we and all of our fellow cachers would like to acknowledge and celebrate Tonkajen's great achievement with the placement of this cache.
Quilting is fun too and I have spent many hours chatting, caching, and solving puzzles with Jen, and consider ourselves lucky to have such a great friend in her. Anyone who has spent any time with Jen knows that her unfailing positive energy and spirit can't help but pick you up, and her quick wit will always give you a good laugh when you need it. She has always been there for us, and we're honored to be able to hide this cache for her.
The 'Noles kidlets actually found this hiding spot near the entrance of Timber Shores Park way back in January 2008, but we weren't able to find the right use for it until just now. Free and legal street parking is available at the trailhead, at N 45° 03.256 W 093° 25.245, and from there it's a just short hop over the boardwalk to the cache location.
This cache starts out positively bursting at the seams with geo-treasure, and is definitely both kid- and family-friendly. Congrats again to Tonkajen, and as always: thanks, have fun, and happy hunting!
Va gur ubyr!
