Prepare yourself for a spectacular view of the St Louis River from Oldenburg Point. This will take you for a walk along the Ogantz Trail to an overlook that far too few people have seen. You don't need to take any stairways that lead you down to the river!
The park has added a fun little puzzle that is easily solved on the spot. If you think that is the end of the fun wait until you find out what critter is the object of this Wildlife Safari.
The walk is easy, about three quarters of a mile round trip, which brings you to a vista that opens at your feet and lifts your eyes across the river valley. Enjoy.

Tips for Finding the Wild Safari Geocache
This park’s Wild Safari challenge will involve several stops with a physical cache and puzzle to find at each one. The final cache will contain the collectible critter card, logbook and other geocache “treasures”. Bring paper, pencil and a park map to help with the puzzles.
Difficulty – Since we’re a demo-park we tried to design the challenge so that experienced geocachers could have fun, but people new to the sport could still participate. Extra clues and the puzzle answer are posted at each stop to help out those who need them.
Physical Caches – You'll find a physical object at each stop that will contain a puzzle to figure out the coordinates to the next stop on your adventure. Look high and low, put on your best explorer hat. You’ll need sharp eyes and smart thinking to find it.
Text Hints to a stop – Each cache will contain a text hint to your next stop if you need help finding the general location.
“Need an Extra Clue” hint – Each stop will also have an extra clue posted somewhere, just in case you REALLY can’t find the physical cache. WARNING: The hint is fairly specific, so only use it if you must.
Key to the hints – all scrambled clues use the same key.
Puzzle answer – If you need to double check your answer OR if you just can’t figure the puzzle out, the answer will always be hidden in the cache so you can continue on. Look for the stop sign symbol.
