Lock & Lock container hidden off of the mountain bike trails at Sprain Ridge park on the Yonkers - Greenburgh border.
The park opens at 8am and closes at dusk, 7 days a week, year-round. Parking lot is also used as a Park & Ride so accessing the area outside of those times, while not officially allowed shouldn’t be a problem..
I have named this cache The Bunny Trail because it is being hidden on the day before Easter 2009 & there are bunny rabbits in the area.
Original cache contents: A Sacagawea one dollar coin for the FTF, Set of Dice, Water Pistol, Rubber Ball, Chalk, Deck of Playing Cards, Small Plastic Boat.
Your best bet for parking is at N 40° 59.153 - W 73° 50.792, Than enter the trail near N 40° 59.146 W 73° 50.778.
If you plan on bringing your mountain bike be for warned these trails are not for armatures or kids. The terrain is quite rough & involves hiking up some steep rocky areas.
Please cover cache with leaves after putting it back in its hiding place.
