Ermida de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios (Malveira)

A Ermida de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios fica situada na Malveira, numa zona da vila vulgarmente denominada por Malveira de Cima.

Desconhecendo-se a data certa da construção da ermida, é dado como certo a sua existência em 1723, ano em que deverá ter sido reconstruída. De acordo com os historiadores, o templo deverá remontar a finais do século XVII, altura em que por toda a região se levantaram inúmeras igrejas e ermidas, resultado do fervor religioso da época.

No exterior o destaque vai para o bem proporcionado alpendre da fachada principal - já do século XX -, para o registo de azulejos do século XIX com a figura de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios e ainda para um elegante campanário no lado esquerdo da fachada. O cruzeiro data de 1771.

As paredes do interior são revestidas a azulejos e o chão do adro a grandes lajes de calcário. Uma pia de água benta seiscentista dá razão à datação da ermida, assim como os pedestais das colunas de pedra que sustentam o coro alto.

A ermida deverá ter sido construída na mesma altura da Capela de Santo António da Carrasqueira que, pelo menos em 1709, já existia.

English Version

TheErmida de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios is situated in the Malveira, in a zone of the village vulgarly called by from above Malveira.

Being unaware of itself it dates it certain of the construction of the ermida one, is given as certain its existence in 1723, year where it must have been reconstructed. In accordance with the historians, the temple will have to retrace the ends of century XVII, height where for all the region if had raised innumerable churches and ermidas, resulted of the religious fervor of the time.

In the exterior the prominence goes for the proportionate good alpendre of the main façade - already of century XX -, for the tile register of century XIX with the figure of Ours Lady of the Remedies and still for an elegant bell tower in the left side of the façade. The cruise dates of 1771.

The walls of the interior are coated tiles and the soil of adro the great calcareous rock flagstone. A seiscentista sink of the reason to the dating of the ermida one, as well as the pedestals of the rock columns that support the choir high.

The ermida one must have been constructed in the same height of the Capela de Santo António da Carrasqueira that, at least in 1709, already existed.
