Finding a place in the center of Hanoi to hide a cache proved to be quite hard. First, there are hundreds of people. Second, all rubbish is soon removed.
In some spare time a group of us being avid converts to this hobby hunted for a place to hide this film cannister cache. The place we found is between two electrical cabinets on the shore of the lake. I hope it stays there.
As there is so many people here, the best time of day to find this is early in the morning, and even then you should pretend to be doing up your shoe laces or something similar. As stated by some people this is harder than it looks, so I have bumped up the difficulty a little.
The cache is located between two brick parts in between the two electrical devices in the photograph attached. Please, feel free to post spoiler photos of you at the site or around the area. It is a very beautiful place.
Novermber 2009 update.
This cache has been surprisingly popular. It has also had its ups and downs. Many thanks to all of those people who have helped make sure it is still there. I will be next visiting it in March or April 2010.
