Geocache Description:

Au bord du trou du serpent

In the VIth century, the Batz island was devastated by a dragon. The bishop Saint Pol-Aurelien went to the dragon's lair and ordered it to go out. He then captured the animal using his stole, lead it to the coast and had the dragon jump into the sea. The location is now called "Toul ar sarpent", the "snake's hole" in britton.

A simple cache on the Batz Island to let geocachers discover themselves the other treasures : the lighthouse (no need of GPS to find it), the exotical garden and the church once buried in the sand (around point N48 44.438 W4 00.493), the nice beaches, etc.
