Geocache Description:

This ruins are the establishment Kemigawa wireless transmission station in 1926.

Kemigawa wireless transmission station had the first call sign J1AA in Japan, and the first international broadcasting in Japan was done here. Moreover, this wireless station is known by having sent the second standard frequency transmission in the world in 1940. (call sign JJY)

To our regret, this wireless station was abolished in 1979.
However, there are people who are doing the preservation activity as a symbol that brings our country the progress of the wireless telecommunications technology
