Geocache Description:

This is a gold colored 50 Cal ammo can placed to honor DNNSGPS' 1000th find on August 15th 2008

In some areas, it's a tradition for someone to hide a gold painted ammo can to honor someone on the occasion of their one thousandth find.

On August 15th, 2008 my friend, DNNSGPS joined the "thousandaires club" at GC16XWD, "Our Proposal" near Reynoldsville NY. Congratulations on your 1,000th find, may there be many more my friend.

The cache itself is placed off of an old railroad bed that is scheduled to be turned in to a "rails to trails" trail in the near future.
The best plarking area is in an industrial park off of Transit Rd. (RT. 78) about a quarter mile from the cache. The terrain and difficulty rating are set slightly high to account for tree cover, and the fact that the cache will be harder to find after a heavy rain. The cache is probably not winter accessible, unless there is little snow cover on the ground.
Please take the time to cover the cache well after the find.
