CZ:Smírcí kameny staveli provinileci jako soucást trestu na míste, kde došlo k neštestí. Puvodne byly na nich zobrazovány trestní ciny nebo vražedný nástroj, pozdeji i nápis s popisem cinu.
Ledecský smírcí kámen byl puvodne zazden do zahradní zídky domu c. p. 222 v Koželské ulici, pozdeji byl premísten do bocní ulice Hurka. Je na nem vytesán velký kríž a pri vedlejší strane mec. Doplnen je nápisem „V putce Petr z Kožlí zabit Léta Božího 1575... zis v první ctvrtek“. Vypráví se, že se zde kvuli detem pohádali dva otcové. Hádka se zmenila v zápas, v nemž jeden druhého ubil.

Addition is the inscription "In hassle Petr from Kozli was killed in the year 1575 God ... zis the first Thursday." Tells, that here was fight of two fathers because of his children. Argument has changed in the fight, which killed one another.
