Geocache Description:

I know, I know..Nobody likes puzzle caches...Or do they? Spending countless hours doing math or searching the web for clues. Well, how about I make that part of the job EASY for you. Yup, I'm going to give you the actual coords to the final. Yup, you read that right. What I have listed for the coords will take you to the actual cache. Here is the kicker....Will you have the right numbers to get into the cache? :) ***PLEASE NOTE, HOURS FOR THE FINAL ARE FROM 6AM TO 10:30PM***

To solve the lock to get into the cache, I drove around nearby areas and got business/house numbers to help with that. All of these locations should be able to drive by and get the numbers you need w/o even having to get out of your vehicle (so this can even be done on those rainy days). What you will need to do is get the digit I specify after each coordinate, which will be a number to the lock.

1) N 42° 03.192 W 091° 36.537 = 3rd digit
2) N42° 02.602 W 091° 34.838 = 1st digit
3) N 42° 02.221 W091° 37.450 = (3rd digit MINUS 1st and 2nd digit)
4) N 41°58.380 W 091° 37.862 = 4th digit
5) N 42° 02.317 W 091°41.917 = 1st digit
6) N 42° 02.365 W 091° 35.630 = 3rd digit

NOW, once you have the digits from those locations, the number to the padlock goes in this order from the answers you got in this order... 61 43 25 ============================================= Curse of the FTF #3 (Linn County) This is a cursed cache for all First to Finders out there. If you are the FTF for a cache in this series and you choose to play, you are cursed with the obligation to place another "The Curse of the FTF" cache and therefore extending the series. This concept is in play in Fredericksburg, VA and Omaha, Nebraska. They both have a strong series running. Guidelines for this series are below: 1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (The Curse of the FTF #) within 2 months Other wise the curse will prevent you from ever getting another FTF again!!! HA HA!! 2. You should only be a FTF for this series once. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along. 3. Cache can be any type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.). 4. You should include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series. 5. I would like to keep this series in the Linn County area, but if you must step out side the line do so. 6. If you are the FTF in this series and do not wish to Continue the game. PLEASE say so in your log entry. This will give the 2nd-TF, 3rd-TF, etc the option to continue the game. NOTE to all who hunt FTF's in this series... Reviewers have been instructed by Groundspeak not to approve caches that have a requirement to place additional cache or caches as a condition of logging the find. You can make a suggestion that the person do so, but it can't be required. Please include this note in your description or your cache may not get approved! Have Fun!!!
