Geocache Description:

Les coordonnées GPS ci-dessus sont celles du parking au centre du village. Prenez ensuite à pied la rue qui descend à l’abbaye en vous arrêtant devant le monument à la mémoire du poète local André Theuriet. Pour trouver la cache, il vous faudra répondre à quelques questions sur la « promenade de l’Entre-deux-eaux », à gauche.

Cette agréable promenade à l'ombre des tilleuls pluri-séculaires, court entre la rivière de l'Aube, à gauche, et son canal déférent, à droite. A l’origine, il servait de bief pour le moulin situé dans l'enceinte de l'abbaye, d'où son nom de « Promenade d'Entre-deux-eaux ». Les tilleuls visibles aujourd'hui sont remarquables et tout à fait impressionnants par la taille de leur tronc. Les plus anciens ont été plantés dès 1735 et ont donc eu 265 ans en 2000.

Coordinate GPS above is the ones of the parking lot in the center of the village. Take then on foot the street which comes down to the abbey by stopping you in front of the monument to the memory of the local poet André Theuriet. To find the hiding place, it will be necessary to you to answer some questions on the " walk of Between-two-waters ", to the left.

This pleasant walk in the shade of the multiyear lime trees, runs enter the river of the Aube, to the left, and its testicle cord, to the right. Originally, it served of canal reach for the mill situated within the abbey, where from its name of " Walk of Between two waters ". The visible lime trees today are remarkable and completely impressive by the size of their trunk. The oldest were planted from 1735 and were thus 265 years old in 2000.
