Geocache Description:

This cache was placed for an upcoming event for the new cacher in the family GPS_JUNKY 4. The event was on May 30th. 2009. Just placed to have some new caches in the area for people like "DOC" who got them all from the area all ready. Not quite a P & G but close too it. Tried to hide 20 caches today so the cords might be a little off. If they are, post your cords. I will get updated right away. Oh yea, I didn't have any pens to put in cache, so bring your own.

On the way to hiding this cache we spooked up a hen turkey on her nest of about 10 eggs. Thought about naming it after her but I know she won't be there long.

To date, with the participation of other cachers, there are 24 published caches included on the list. Each has been designated with the prefix WRR in the titleand the number of the road. The placement is usually within 100 feet or so of the road. The purpose is to encourage cachers to visit these scenic and historic roads.
Through the WGA forums, I have also been recruiting other cachers to participate. The goal is to populate all 108 of Wisconsin's Rustic Roads and eventually a challenge cache to go along with it.

The goal is for people to be able to search for the WRR prefix much like the WSQ prefix. Ideally, the cache listing would also have some information from the WDOT website about the road.
