Geocache Description:


These are the coordinates for a parking lot you can use while you look for the cache, but they are not the coordinates for the cache. I was inspired by one of Iowa Tom’s puzzle cache’s, but I thought his puzzle was a little too easy, so I decided to create my first puzzle cache with a real math punch to it, as designed by a Wartburg College math professor.

Some help to solve this puzzle. First, there are no zeroes anywhere in the puzzle. So you don’t have to worry about a three digit answer really being a two digit number starting with a zero, because there aren’t any zeroes in any of the answers. Second, no answer is repeated; that’s important. All the terms used (prime, power, perfect, etc.) are standard mathematical terms, which you can look up if you need to. The answer to the puzzle is unique and can be found using only the clues and some knowledge of mathematics.

Stealth is a necessity. The location is highly visible. I recommend bringing children along as a distraction. This is a log only micro-cache. You will need to bring your own pen, at least until somebody (Bucknuts?) drops off a pencil.
