Un matin de l'été 1944, 800 soldats de l'armée d'occupation investissent quatre villages du plateau de Langres et encerclent plus de 500 hectares de forêts. Quelques heures plus tard, quinze Résistants sont tués au combat ou fusillés. Deux réussissent à échapper au massacre, deux autres sont prisonniers puis déportés : un seul reviendra des camps de concentration.
4 tombes de maquisards sont honorées tous les ans, le premier dimanche suivant le 30 juin avec levé de drapeau, dépot de fleurs, discours commémoratifs et procession.

One morning of the summer, 1944, 800 soldiers of the occupying army invest four villages of the plateau de Langres and surround more than 500 hectares of forests. Some hours later, fifteen Resistance fighters are killed in the fight or shot. Two manage to escape the massacre, two others are prisoners then deported: the only one will come back from concentration camps.
4 resistance fighters' graves are every year honored, on first Sunday according to June 30th with sunrise of flag, storehouse of flowers, commemorative speeches and procession.
