Geocache Description:

All Creatures Great and Small

A cache

ver,  ouvir, cheirar  e sentir “all creatures great and small”!

All Creatures Great and Small

With this cache I want to show all geocachers a small village near Odrinhas and Sintra, called Funchal. Many archeological sites around prove that people choosed to live here from very ancient times.

Nearby there are 2 caches,” The Stone Book” and “The Stone Forest  in archeological sites and now I want to take you in a nice walk in rural trails full of life.

While preparing this cache I remembered a lovely book witten by a scotish veterinary, James Harriot, to whom  I pay tribute with the cache’s name.

Cache

This is a multi-cache that starts in Funchal, (waypoint coordinates) with 3 intermediate points until the final container.

Given coordinates are for the first container.

In each stage you will find a small container with the coordinates for the next one.

It’s a small walk in a rural trail, but to reach some stages and the final cache you must abandon the trail and climb some rocks.

It’s not dificult but be careful specialy with children.

Please do not publish information or photos that reveal the containers

And now, prepare to see, listen, smell and feel “all creatures great and small”!
