This is a very sentimental cache for Blue Dogz-a bit of closure if you will. 17 years ago, Mr Blue opened a little comic book store called Dragon Fire Comics. That same week, Mrs Blue began working at a new dry cleaners next door to Mr Blue's new store. A couple of days passed, then one day Mr Blue walked into the drycleaning store and asked Mrs Blue her name. Mrs Blue was in love. 4 years later, Mr and Mrs Blue were married. The comic book store did quite well, and ended up being one of the oldest comic book stores in the Des Moines and surrounding areas. In 2007, Mr Blue decided it was time to enter the corporate world, after many years of enjoying his dream. In 2008 the economy nose-dived, and in February 2009 the store closed after 17 years. Mr and Mrs Blue have SO many memories here...R.I.P Dragon Fire Comics.
The cache contains what is left of Dragon Fire Comics -Mr Blue's last advertising attempt. Feel free to take a little piece of our history....and now, on to a new chapter:)
