An Aquarian Exposition
August 2009 will mark the 40th anniversary of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, one of the most well-known popular cultural events of the 1960s.
It started with the soulful voice of Richie Havens and it ended with the electric sound of Jimmy Hendrix. What happened in between was a revolution.
The Event starts at 5:00 pm, and ends about three hours after dusk. Come early or come when you can. There WILL be a logbook to sign. Start hitting the garage sales or check on eBay, looking for bell bottoms and tie dye. Let your hair grow and put a flower in it. Get wild. It's going to be a celebration.
If the original Woodstock attracted 500,000 people, we should easily be able to attract 500. Bring your kids, friends, parents, co-workers and sign the logbook.
