Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The posted coordinates are for a random aquatic location in West Windsor, New Jersey. In order to find the cache, you must first figure out where to park using the image provided below. The parking location is less than one mile from the posted coordinates. The cache page may provide useful hints or tools to help determine the parking coordinates.

It is unlikely that you will come up with the exact parking coordinates so I have provided a geochecker with a lot of generosity built in. As long as you are reasonably close it will tell you where to park. You can check to see if you have the correct parking coordinates here:

From the parking coordinates, follow the paved bike path northeast approximately 200 feet and look for a plaque set into the grass just off the left side of the path. You will need to record information from the plaque to proceed to Stage 2.

Stage 2 is at N40° 18.ABC W74° 36.DEF
(digital root of full coordinates=5)

A = 1st digit on right side (reading top to bottom then left to right)
B = # of letters in 1st word + # of letters in 4th word on left side
C = 3rd digit on right side
D = # of words in second and third lines on left side
E = # of words on third line on left side
F = # of letters in word on middle line on right side

You can walk or bike to Stage 2, which is approximately .60 (crow) miles away along the path you are on or you can relocate to closer parking. If you walk or bike you will have to cross three roads. At the third road you have to follow the path to the right and cross at the crosswalk. If you choose to drive, there is parking within 50 feet of Stage 2. At Stage 2 you will find a sign with a map on it.

Stage 3 is at the object indicated with a bright green cross on the map (the name of the object is also indicated in bright green). For orientation purposes, if you are facing the map, the path you want to take to this object will be behind you and the object is about 1/4 mile away. Just follow the paved path as it winds around, but veer right at the intersection just before you go downhill. At Stage 3 you are looking for another sign with quite a lot of interesting information on it. You will need this data to determine the final cache location, which is a short distance away.

The cache is at N40° 18.GHI W74° 36.JKL
(digital root of full coordinates=9)

G = # of letters in 1st word of fact #1
H = 3rd digit in starting year
I = # of words in fact #14
J = number used in the final fact
K = 1st digit in number of miles in fact # 6
L = 1st digit in number of minutes in fact #9

If you head back the way you came and take the low (dirt) road, you will find a path near a telephone pole that leads uphill and will take you over to the final. Walk across the end of the field and look for a trail leading into the tree line...no bushwacking is necessary.

Final container is a small peanut butter jar with a somewhat themed
geocoin for FTF.

Welcome to the PMC Lite!!!

This series was created in response to the many people who wanted a puzzle series, but did not want anything as difficult as the Puzzle Masters Challenge.

This series is meant to be fun and get those cachers, who are not normally interested in puzzle caches, to try their hand at them and realize that they are not as bad as they seem.

It is meant to be fun and entertaining and take you many places in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The caches in this series will all be released sporadically between now and the PMC puzzle event in June.

So have fun, begin to find these caches and collect the clues in each cache you find. They will eventually lead you to the final.

If you would like a list of all the caches in all the PMC series, you can find it here. It is a work in progress, but will contain all the caches and their creators as they are released.

Hope you have fun and thanks for visiting!!!!
