Dans cette nécropole, appelée "cimetière du Courneau" au lieu-dit "Natus du Haut", reposent 940 soldats sénégalais et 12 soldats russes. Ce camp comprenait en 1916, date de sa construction, 400 baraquement pouvant loger 20 000 hommes et un hôpital de campagne de 950 lits. Une stèle à l'extérieur de la nécropole commémore le souvenir de 87 soldats américains décédés en ce lieu..

In this necropolis, called " cemetery of Courneau " to the locality " Natus du Haut ", rests 940 Senegalese soldiers and 12 Russian soldiers. This camp included in 1916, date of its construction, 400 camp which can accommodate 20 000 men and a hopital of campaign of 950 beds. A memorial outside of the necropolis commemorate the memory of 87 American soldiers died in this place.
