This cache is a small camo bottle. It contains only a log so make sure and bring a pen/pencil with you.
This cache was placed because there was so much interest in the original House of the Rising Sun cache, located in nearby Jerome. Like Jerome, Rohwer also served as a Japanese-American internment camp during World War II.
This is one of the new caches being placed along the Great River Road National Scenic Byway, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2008. Ten original caches were placed in the 10 Arkansas Delta counties along the Arkansas portion of the Great River Road as part of the 10-state anniversary celebration. Since the original caches have been such a hit, I've decided to add 10 more caches. I hope you enjoy them!
