Sited in Vadul lui Voda, this cache should be easy to locate.
Vadul lui Voda is a resort town on the bank of the Nistru River
The beach at Vadul lui Voda is a small feat of Soviet engineering; thousands of tons of sand were dumped decades ago in order to create a beach that's wider than the river it edges up to. As a land-locked country this is the closest Moldovans can get to a beach holiday without leaving the country.
Stefan cel mare was Prince of Moldavia between 1457 and 1504 and is the most famous hero of Moldova. Almost every town and village has its main street named after him.
During his reign, he strengthened Moldavia and maintained its independence against the ambitions of Hungary, Poland, and the Ottoman Empire, which all sought to subdue the land. Stefan achieved fame in Europe for his long resistance against the Ottomans. He was victorious in 34 of his 36 battles, and was one of the first to gain a decisive victory over the Ottomans at the Battle of Vaslui, after which Pope Sixtus IV deemed him verus christianae fidei athleta (true Champion of Christian Faith).
Stefan's long reign brought considerable cultural development; many churches and monasteries were erected by Stefan himself; some of which, including Voronet, are now part of UNESCO's World Heritage sites.
Stephen was seen as holy by many Christians, soon after his death. He has been canonized a saint by the Romanian Orthodox Church
The cache is hidden behind the Green Police Post and near the Chisla Nova Restaurant and should be a straight forward find.
