A cache placed in an area our Great Aunt Birdie loved to visit,where she sometimes saw and heard her favourite birds, owls,especially at dusk.
Great Aunt Birdie left a legacy of an old peach jar stuffed full of Tenners..............we placed it out as a cache in Somerset whilst on holiday there, but unfortunately it was muggled, before it's contents could be enjoyed by many cachers.(See GC1W16Z) Determined that Great Aunt Birdie would be remembered for the right reasons only...............the Camel Cachers have placed this new Peach Jar Cache in her memory, and whenever any cachers log it as a find, we will make a donation of 30p to The Screech Owl Sanctuary.............a place Great Aunt Birdie also loved to visit.So please visit this cache and tell fellow cachers about it. You can enjoy a most pleasant walk up through the woods along a very well maintained path,a good place for a stroll what-ever the weather. Many cachers visited The Screech Owl Scantuary on Sunday 23rd August and saw the great work which goes on there and met the owls.........(see GC1QWOJ...Cornish Summer Hoot..Event) Great Aunt Birdie would haved loved to have been there!!! A lovely shiny £2 coin for FTF. Room for various swaps and TB's/Geocoins. Please rehide the cache well. The cache will only be in place until 31/12/2009.
