Follow the clues in and around the park until you come to the final cache location. Be sure to keep an eye out for muggles. This is a high traffic area and we would hate for any of these clues or containers to go missing. You will want to write down the clues you gather along the way on a piece of paper. Replace the clue card once you have found it and never take a clue card to the next location. Many of these hiding spots are well hidden so be sure to look carefully and tread lightly. History and Information:
On July 3rd, 2009 the Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park was opened to the public. It is open everyday from 9am to 5pm. In this park you will find many interesting structures to commemorate the historic significance of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. This along with every other TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT Geocache is open to the public. The Town of Mount Pleasant’s vision for the park is to provide a high quality environment to create a unique “sense of place” for park visitors. Weaving community history with a vibrant sense of cultural identity, sweetgrass preservation and wetland restoration, the Waterfront Park establish a sense of peace and serenity among a bustling world. The park includes a 1,200 ft public fishing and observation pier using the former structure of the Pearman Bridge, a war memorial that recognizes the heroes of Mount Pleasant, a visitor center, and a snack and tackles shop. This geocache requires an approximately 1 mile hike. Please allow adequate time to hike trails and find clues. The climate of South Carolina can be hot and humid in the summer, so be sure to bring water. Do not remove any clues or the final cache.
