Geocache Description:

This is my 1st Wherigo, so don't expect anything fancy. You are going to drive to a few places. Total distance from start to finish is approx. 3 miles.

Do you hate shopping and running errands? Well, if you want that smiley, you don't have a choice. Help me run my errands and you'll get rewarded with a cache at the end.

Download the wherigo cartridge from www.wherigo.com (visit link)
You'll also find more info about what Wherigo is and how it works on www.wherigo.com

Sign the logbook of the geocache to be elligible to log this as "found it". If you also want to log the cartridge as completed on wherigo.com, you have to upload your saved file. I haven't figured out the part with the unlock code yet.

This cartridge was tested with a Garmin Oregon 300. If you have questions about how to run it with a PDA, I probably won't be able to help you. I am new to this.

If you don't have a device that supports Wherigo, you can do the cache with my GPS. Shoot me an email and we can arrange to meet at GZ.

Some notes on how this Wherigo Geocache cartridge works.
When you get to the starting zone, you will begin interacting with the GPS/PDA. Follow the instructions. Pressing "OK" after you read the message on the screen will bring you to the next screen. The back button will not scroll you back through screens! It takes you back to the main screen, a listing of available locations, inventory etc. So, make sure to read each message properly before hitting "OK" since you won't be able to go back to it. Enter data when asked questions.
Your correct answer will trigger the next zone to become visible on the locations screen. If you select the location, it will show like a waypoint to go to with distance and direction arrow. Note that the arrow is much smaller than what you are used to from your GPS Compass page. The geocache location is provided at the final zone. Write down coords for the final when they are displayed, just in case the cartridge crashes.
