L'antenne de Chalindrey, située au sommet du Cognelot, est
haute de 200 m. Elle est utilisée par TDF pour la diffusion de la
télévision et de la radio.
Le fort du Cognelot ou fort Vercingétorix, construit entre 1874 et
1877, est situé légèrement plus au Nord sur la route. Il n'est
ouvert qu'à l'occasion de certains évènements.
Les habitants de Chalindrey s'appellent les Sorciers. Et, d'après
la légende, le "diable du Foultot" sévirait sur la commune. Il est
donc recommandé la plus grande prudence aux geocachers! :)
The antenna of Chalindrey, located on top of the Cognelot, is
200 m high. It is used by TDF to broadcast TV and radio.
The fort of the Cognelot, built between 1874 and 1877, is located a
little bit North down the road. It is opened only during special
events.
Citizens of Chalindrey are named Sorcerers. And, according to the
legend, the "devil of the Foultot" still lives around. Beware,
geocachers! :) |
