Geocache Description:

Traditional cache in northern part of Lauttasaari.

About 180 m to the northwest from the cache (in the end of Katajaharjuntie) you will find a carpet cleaning place ("matonpesulautta"). There are not so many places like this in Helsinki.

If you go 200m to the northeast (in the end of Laukkaniementie) you will see the house where the grand old man of finnish humor - Spede Pasanen - did live some years. Because Spede has been quite a inventor, there has been some strange water vehicles on the dock.

The GPS signal is not very good in the area because of big trees, but the place of cache should be quite obvious.

It's always a pleasure to find box with a label "This is a cache - not a trash". Have you ever found small box with a label "This is a trash - not a cache"?
