geodarts: The hint should be right - I can’t imagine it changing without the area being completely destroyed, but I am concerned about the dnfs and a fence. I’ll start working on a new container - I assume the fence is temporary since there are some things being worked on.

John Steinbeck compared San Francisco to a Golden Handcuff. Others have written poetic odes to the city. When you come here, take the time to read what people have said about this town: from Caen to Kipling to Wilde.

You might want to linger here just a bit. To sit down and look at the old ferries and Treasure Island. On a warm day, people might come here to eat lunch. So use appropriate judgment and do not be in a hurry if you have to wait.

Some people have problems with the hint. The cache should be easy enough to find without it, but it might be quicker and a more direct search with the hint - handy on a crowded sunny afternoon. As stated above, it might make sense if you take time to read the odes to the city that are found here. They are the reason why this location was chosen. Certainly, it might help if you think about what you find around the cache location- if have somebody to love, are willing to follow the white rabbit, or simply enjoy the wooden ships it might make more sense. There are, after all, many odes that are part of the city's legacy and important people who have contributed to that.
