Geocache Description:

Who's afraid of a few butterflies?

This cache is a dedication to my dog Mika.

She's a papillon.

That's the french word for butterfly.

The ears will tell you why.

papillons

This 2-part multi-cache will take you on a scenic walk in a quiet part of the Three Rivers Park Trail. If you happen upon a nest of papillons don't be afraid even though they will hear you coming before you hear them.

The two stages are not far apart and are very close to the path. The 2 for difficulty is due to the size of the first stage and the number of quality hidey spots. Please watch out for some ground-hugging barbed wire near stage 1.

There is a prize for the FTF. There is also some swag and my very first TB (VanGogh Anywhere I Can TB) plus a couple homemade bracelets.

If you Take a trackable, PLEASE LEAVE A TRACKABLE!

A big congratulations to Tri-Chick for her first FTF! They are addicting. Thank you to everyone who went in search of today.

Congratulations to Brooklyn51 on another big milestone. Thanks for making this cache your 800th find!
