It takes about 15 minutes on foot from Ohama fishing port to
"Hekinan station".
Ohama port was a key port of marine transportation in Nanbokucho,
civil war era.
At that time rice, sake and mirin were often transported.
A catch of sardines [maiwashi], horse mackerels [maaji] etc. is great now.
It was one of the largest fishing ports in Aichi prefecture.
About 150 fishermen work and about 100 fishing boats and about 50 pleasure boats are moored here.
Please watch out the sea not to fall into.
