"The North Star Museum of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting is an independent institution whose mission is to collect, preserve, share, and interpret the history and significance of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting in the upper Midwest. It does this through collecting, producing exhibits both at its building in North St. Paul and traveling displays that go to community events. It offers tours, programs, and workshops for adults and kids. The museum was founded in 1976 and now has a collection that numbers more than over 150,000 artifacts, films, uniforms, books and publications, photographs, and other material." NSSM
