Geocache Description:

There are existing 3 different series of caches in Iceland ( Nordurland, Vesturland and Sudurland ). Each serie has 4 different caches ( Nordurland has 5 ) and in one of each serie you'll find in the logbook a number which leeds you to a Bonuscache ( Team Hekla Bonus Cache ) in Iceland. This Cache is one of the Vesturland Series in West Iceland.

If you drive on road 574 you'll find a short way down to the lighthouse in Malarrif. On the west side of the lighthouse there's a small footpath leading to the old fishermen's house with old relicts from former times. Frome here you've got a wonderful view on the glacier Snaefellsjökull.
There is nothing to trade it contains just a logbook
The cache will be maintained from us, because we are often during the year in iceland for visiting our friends, and if we are not able our friends will help us to maintain it, like the others from the other series.
