1410 metais liepos 15 dieną Vytautas ir Jogaila sutriuškino Kryžiuočių ordiną. Ta pergalė tapo lietuvių tautos pasididžiavimu. 1990 metais Kauno rajone, Cinkiškėse, prie magistralės "Kaunas - Klaipėda" buvo įkurtas Žalgirio parkas. Čia pastatyta 13 koplytstulpių, primenančių žymiausius Žalgirio mūšio karžygius. 10 hektarų plote pasodinta raudonlapių klevų, maumedžių, pušų ir eglaičių, iš viso daugiau kaip 1000 medelių.

Zalgirio park
Grunwald park July 15, 1410 the day of Vytautas and Jogaila crushed the teutonic Knights. The victory is the Lithuanian nation proud. Grunwald park was founded in 1990, near the highway Kaunas - Klaipeda, Cinkiskes, Kaunas region. 13 crucifixes were built there to honour the most famous warriors of Grunwald's battle. 10 hectares of land is planted with raddles maple, larchs, pines and firs in total more than 1000 trees.
Pines are planted that the sight through the airplane window the word ZALGIRIS.
