This cache has been archived.

While I feel that should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

Akershus Festning (Fortress) is one of Norway's most important cultural monuments. It's plant and buildings were constructed in the Middle Ages and into our own time.
The Northern Bastion (Escarpe du Nord) forms the sharpest corner of the fortress, from the cache site you see it to the west. It was built 1592-1604.
The cache is placed by the north walls of Akershus Fortress, illuminated in the dark. Very sentimental ...

This is an all seasons cache, a real drive-in, or preferably a walk-in.

/ Plassert ved nordmuren på Akershus Festning, som i mørket er lekkert belyst.
Skarpenords bastion (Escarpe du Nord), bygget 1592-1604, ligger rett vest for cachen.
Cachen er tilgjengelig året rundt, til fots, med bil eller med sykkel, her ankommer du stilriktig både med six pence, hjelm og nisselue.
