Geocache Description:

Solar System Cache - Venus

This site is the second in a series of geocaches hidden around Fredericton to mark the International Year of Astronomy, 2009. Each cache will represent a planet, and will contain a brief description of the planet at the correct scale distance from the Sun. Start your journey among the planets by visiting City Hall and looking at the circle of water (in the summer) around the fountain.(N 45° 57.790' W 66° 38.598') Now imagine that our Sun was this big and Venus was a little bigger than a golf ball orbiting about 420 meters away.
