Geocache Description:

This cache is located on what is now the old Ice Age trail on the south side of Hemlock Creek. You can access it going south of the parking lot or by doing the 2.8 mile loop with the new trail on the north side of Hemlock Creek. The difficulty may be higher now because of the snow fall since I hid the cache.

This old trail has white and sometimes blackish trail markings unlike the newer section which is marked in the typical IAT yellow markings. If you are doing the loop you will cross Hemlock creek over the 30 year old Sierra Club Bridge.
There are benches scattered along these 2 trails so you can sit and enjoy the scenery along the way.
You can park at the Murphy Flowage Recreation picnic area on the west side of County F.
