Mt. Hasumi is a low mountain that is 118.5 meters high above sea level in the eastern part of Nishio City.
The climbing route from Saimyouji temple to Mt. Hasumi is popular.
There were about 100 Kofuns (old tombs) near this mountain.
These Kofuns were constructed between 6th century and 7th century.
Around a half of them disappeared by making the pasture and the factory site.
One of Koubo shrines is Kofun.
This cache is hidden near the Koubo shrine (Kofun).
The road to Mt. Hasumi is narrow.
Be careful in driving a car.
Sannoyam Kofun whose preservation state is excellent is on the west side of this mountain. We can readily see it.
